Betting predictions today are coming soon
I’m building a daily predictions page, and it isn’t ready. I’d rather tell you that than fill this space with made-up fixtures and a hit-rate nobody can check. So there are no betting predictions today, and there won’t be until the page can do the job properly.
What the page is meant to do
This is a plan, not a promise with a date on it. The idea is one page per day with a pick for each covered match: 1X2 (home win, draw or away win), over/under goals and BTTS (both teams to score). Each pick would come with a confidence level and the reasoning in plain words, plus the odds at the time it was posted, because a pick without a price can’t be judged.
How the record would be kept
The rule I care about most: when a pick loses, it stays on the page next to the result. Nothing gets deleted or edited after kick-off. I also intend to publish the full record at regular intervals, losses included, measured by yield and not by hit rate. Why hit rate is misleading explains the difference. The same logging is what will let accuracy count in the scores across this site, which it doesn’t today.
What you can use now
Until the page is live, the rest of the site is open: the directory of prediction apps, prediction sites and tipsters, the betting guides, and two free calculators under tools. Full reviews of individual products aren’t written yet either, and the listings say so.
No prediction, mine included, can promise a profit. Most bettors lose over time. 18+ only.
What I plan to build
Daily match predictions
The plan is one page, refreshed every morning. Each match would get a 1X2 pick (home win, draw or away win), an over/under 2.5 goals pick and a BTTS pick — both teams to score — with a confidence figure next to each.
Every miss stays published
Once predictions run, the result will go next to each pick, right or wrong. Nothing will be deleted or quietly edited. If I have a bad week, you will see the bad week.
A monthly accuracy report
I plan to publish hit-rate and flat-stake profit or loss by market and by league once a month, losses included. There is no record to show yet, because there are no picks yet.
None of this exists yet: there are no picks on this page, there is no launch date, and I will not fill the gap with made-up fixtures. Predictions are opinions, not promises: nobody can tell you how a match ends.
Meanwhile
The directory is open. These are good places to start.
