Tips tell you what to bet. Tools help you bet it properly. This page ranks the best-known football betting tools. They’re for anyone who already has opinions about matches and wants better prices, better records and better information.
There are five kinds of tool here, and you probably need two of them.
Odds comparison. Oddschecker puts the UK bookmakers on one grid. OddsPortal adds a deep archive of historical football odds, so you can see how a price moved. Oddspedia does a similar job with a different bookmaker list.
Live scores and match data. Flashscore, Sofascore and LiveScore for line-ups, results and in-play stats.
Bet trackers. Bet-Analytix, Pikkit and Betstamp log your bets and show where your money really goes.
Value and arbitrage scanners. RebelBetting, Trademate Sports and BetBurger. These are for experienced users who accept that bookmakers may limit their accounts.
Exchange and testing software. Bet Angel and Geeks Toy for Betfair trading; Betaminic for back-testing football strategies on historical odds.
What matters when I rank them: how many bookmakers and leagues they cover, how fresh the data is, whether the free version is useful on its own, what the paid tier costs, and how much advertising gets in the way. Weights and criteria are explained in the methodology. Read today’s scores as provisional, since they come from desk research and not from testing.
Need a quick sum, not a subscription? My own parlay calculator and odds converter are free and run in your browser. For the thinking behind value scanners, read value betting. Tools for every sport are on the main tools and software list, and the football hub has everything else. 18+.
