This page goes through the best-known betting sites in Romania and says what each one is. It carries no bonus offers, no promo codes and no affiliate links, so your sign-up is worth nothing to me.
The readers I have in mind are adults in Romania who’ve already decided to bet, and Romanians abroad who want to understand the home market. The names you’ll see: Superbet, a Romanian-born bookmaker with a big agency network; Betano, one of the biggest online books in the country; Casa Pariurilor and Fortuna, which belong to the same group; MaxBet and NetBet; plus the international brands Betfair and Unibet. Each row says what the bookmaker does well and what it doesn’t.
Licensing is simple to check. Online betting in Romania is regulated by ONJN, the National Gambling Office, which publishes a list of licensed operators and a blacklist of unlicensed ones. Every bookmaker here is listed as holding an ONJN licence, but those details are still being verified by hand, and brands do enter and leave the market. Look the bookmaker up on ONJN’s list before you deposit.
No picks, no accuracy mark: bookmakers are judged on the other five criteria. The methodology page explains the scoring. None of these entries has been reviewed hands-on, so every score is a provisional one.
Romanian betting culture loves the long accumulator slip. Before you build one, the parlay calculator shows how fast the chance of winning shrinks with every selection, and what is a parlay explains why bookmakers are so happy to take them. For football research, start at the football betting hub. Other countries are on the main bookmakers list.
18+ only. Most bettors lose over time. If betting has stopped being fun, see the responsible gambling page.
